Breads of the Creative Cities meeting logo

ITKI US, in partnership with Tucson Creative City of Gastronomy, is organizing Meetings in Creative Cities, with the aim of creating interest and involvement in the project “Breads of the Creative Cities” and also to strengthen international partnerships between Creative Cities.

This cross-contamination with other Cities belonging to the Network and the exchange of traditions and recipes among bakers are in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals 8, 10, 12 and 17 Unite (https://www.un.org/sustainabledevelopment/sustainable-development-goals/ ), and in line with the targets of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network.

During these meeting the bakers and the local producers of the ingredients useful for the creation of the traditional staple food of the Creative City will be invited to cook the traditional breads of their City and to choose two from other Creative Cities, recreating them, and having the opportunity to confront themselves with bakers from other countries and cities.
